Because a bunch of folks, who know not of what they speak, keep repeating “lowest bidder”, leaving out the MOST important part of “meeting the spec”. Daniel Defense makes solid product, but is capitalizing on the ignorance of the average AR consumer by inventing a MilSpec Plus category. Believe me, ignorance and average AR customer are nice terms, I spent today listening to consumers, and supposedly knowledgeable sales people trade ignorance all over Hendricks, Marion, and Hamilton counties. For the love of God, please, please, nobody ask for advice at Ft. Liberty firearms.
