I checked mine when I put it on this morning. It was fine.

We went to the one @ Verizon Center in DC today. Unarmed.

Oddly, there were no metal detectors, wands, or checks here. I guess they assume since it's illegal to carry in DC (other than the ~2 who have gotten through the license process), nobody's carrying.

Wife & kids and I had a great time.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but any different experiences last year? Going this weekend with my son for scouts and would like to avoid a walk back to the car if possible.

Yes, but I honestly am not sure it would have mattered. On the other hand, my wife has things I like to touch, and I can guarantee she would not let me for a long time if I created any kind of scene.

I took my son and decided not to carry. I got wanded at the gate and my belt and keys set it off, but the guy said "You're good" and waved me through. I wondered if it would have mattered if I was carrying.
