Great concept, but only a ten year lifespan:dunno:

I'm pretty sure that it's not going to implode the day after 9 year 364 days. I honestly think that you could probably very easily expand it's lifetime to 25 30 years (if not longer) with a lil pre-thought and maintenance.

My thoughts exactly. I was kinda hyped up about it, but was very turned off by the "lasts up to 10 years" lifespan. I thought concrete was well.......concrete. Neat concept though. Obviously well marketed toward military very well.

I think one could spray a layer of foam insulation on the inside, then after allowing it to "cure" a thick sprayed layer of "shot-crete" would give a lifespan of a few hundred years. Of course some rebar wouldn't hurt either.....

Ummm...There's bad ass, and then there's this. Which is AWESOME. Ten years? People really have a problem with ten years? I mean, let's say you have to use it for SHTF, I'm thinking ten years is easily enough time to build a more permanent home.

That is pretty cool. If you had some land to bug out to that would be great to have already in place.

Anyone seen a cost? Don't really have anywhere to put it but something I will be working on as soon as my wife is done with here classes.
