The beauty about being a firearm owner is we have no patience. Speaking from experience, when I order ammo online, as soon as I hit the enter key to confirm the sale, I run to the front porch to see if it has been delivered.
Same with buying a firearm online. As soon as I confirm the sale I call my transfer dealer to see if it has arrived.
Funny thing about ammo and firearm availability these years is the ups and downs we face as panic buying and just new people getting into the sport/hobby buy up supplies. And not directed at anyone, I repeat, I am talking about myself as the text book example of a firearm owner/enthusiast who just has no patience for things to arrive either by mail or at my favorite local dealer/retailer.
That said, buying a firearm you like while it is available but ammo isn't will save you the pain later when ammo is available and the firearm isn't.
