    I figured I would ask here,what is the twist in my contender .223 rifle barrel? I am picking one up this week , and would like to know .Thanks

    I think they are 12” twist if factory.
    Anything up to 55 grainers should be ok.
    I can't even find on T/C website or gunbroker what twist rate is. Pretty sad the manufacturer won't publish something as simple as twist rate on a caliber that varies from 1:7 to 1:12

    They went under LOL, doubt twist rate charts were much of a concern.
    They're hunting guns, standard twist would be a good guess.

    FWIW I had a .223 Super 14" and it loved 55gr
