My grandpa recently gave me a very old Kinfolks straight razor that he had as a young man. He said it even went to Germany with him in 1946 when he was in the air corp.

I can post photos tomorrow if anyones into razors.

I thought the straight razor was interesting so I did some googling on it. I am sure you have already dug most of this up already though.

On the tang stamp behind the name Kinfolks, is it stamped Inc or USA? If it is Inc, it is pre-1939.

Kinfolks was/is a part of the Case family from 1926-1957. Sold in 1957 to Robeson Cutlery (still part of the Case family).

And it is a very nice piece by the way. Plus I think knowing the history of it makes it even better.
