Also I believe that in today's society you'd be stupid to wear a police or even a security uniform when not on duty without wearing your gun! It's why a lot of military aren't allowed to wear their uniforms when traveling on commercial flights and such. They are targets

cop is in their class. Probably the safest class on their campus. And while I don't rely on the police to protect me and my family nor should anyone else. The more good guys with guns when the shtf the better, cops included.
also a lot of cowards pick targets they know are weak. So swing a cop in uniform could prevent an attack

I feel sorry for all the students and the professor who had their safe space invaded by an armed fascist. Frankly, I don't know why this cop thinks he needs an education anyway. I think he should have to attend sensitivity training, and there should be a break out session in the next class where students can receive consolation through coloring books and puppies.
