I am thinking of getting a cordless chainsaw for small trees and limbs . I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or recommendation on a brand.

I received the Black & Decker Alligator Lopper as a gift. Admittedly, I tend to buy higher dollar and different brand tools. That little lopper cuts limbs up to 4-5 inches thick and makes extremely short work of some fairly large jobs. I have had it for a couple years now and it's still kicking butt. I would recommend it for light work around the house.

I have both the B&G Alligator and a Kobalt battery powered chainsaw from Lowe's. The Alligator works well for most small jobs but it is not as versatile or capable as the Kobalt, which is less than $50 more.
