I picked up one of these at the Costco on Michigan Rd. in Indy this morning. Both look good and seem solid.

I bought one and compared to a military surplus 50 caliber can. Every detail matches. To check whether they used less metal in building the costco can, I weighed them both. The costco can weighed in at 5 lb 13 oz, while the military can weighed 5 lb 5 oz. So yeah I'd recommend these from Costco if you want some ammo cans. Costco dropped the price on them to around $14 for December too!

Got the same ones at the south bend Menard's for $15. Seem fairly nice.
