It is my belief that it is never good for celebrities to politically choose sides unless they truly believe in what they are supporting. This will do nothing good for their career. It will only divide their fan base. I know many believe that even bad publicity is at least publicity, but when it comes to the music industry, this is not always true. I hope he thinks the sacrifice is worth it.
Years ago, I met him at a gig here in Indiana. I did sound for him and he seemed like a nice guy. I thought he had more intellegence than to do something like this. I guess he feels it is worth it or they're really paying him a ton of money.
Anyone remember the Dixie twits? I never cared for him or his wife. Chris Ledoux there was a class act.
