    i'm using a 22-250 and my partner is using a .223
I also carry a 12 gauage shot gun loaded with 3.5 inch #4 buck with a "dead coyote" choke ( i use this for shots that will be 65 yards or closer) in thick cover etc.

Been looking to do some Coyote hunting down where I hunt deer and turkeys. It's mostly wooded with a few good sized food plots. What are the best strategies or best places to hunt? Thanks.

A good trapper can out do (by numbers) a hunter , on most any day.

Traps set at same location for 24 hours a day , week after week

most Hunters with jobs only hunt a few days a week and even is they hunt all day most wont hunt more than 8 hours a day.

So where I do like the pic of your buddies catch
It's like compairing apples to oranges

    Nice shooting Lonnie.

Audie ( or anyone) why does that second coyote look like its face has been kicked in? Those coyotes look pretty big laid out like that.

I think the 2nd coyote in his pic looks like that because it was tossed in the truck warm and just laid like that when it stiffened up.

Sometimes when guys (i've done it many times my self) toss dead animals in the truck bed they land weird and stiffen in that position
