Craigslist find last night...How did i do?

Craigslist find yesterday a Browning A-Bolt 30.06 with a LEUPOLD SCOPE VX-1 3-9X40MM roughly 50 rounds thru the gun sling and hard case for $550 how did i do? did a serial number look up via browning and its a 2001 bolt 2
Gun is spotless the original owner said he had hunted with it once in texas and since moving to indiana gave up hunting and its been sitting ever since

there are words to look for...Like hunting gear etc.....It was done local ftf..so it worked out great

the real test is when you go to fire it and the scope keeps its sighting. Give it a good cleaning first then go at it. All goes well then good find for a complete package. if you dont like it then give me a shout i will wake it off your hands.

Well, from the pics, the sling hardly shows any damage from the 50 rounds through it. How's the case look?

Case is a older non factory but the sling was probably used to fling some angry
Birds and there pretty soft. Haha

If you're going to sell the scope, it's better off the rifle. Hard to get the value of a scope with a package deal. You might think it's worth a lot, but you won't get as much for it as if you sold it separately.
