:nowayI went early. I found powder and primers at decent prices. I was walking by a table and heard an elderly Gent challenge a price on an old, used S&W revolver. The dealer said "I have some silly prices listed, I can cut that one in half for you". I shook my head thinking WTF.:noway:

I'm going. Might bring a NIB Bushmaster MOE for trade or sale. You never know what will pop-up there.
did you? i heard there were tons of guys walking around trying to sell ar's for $2k but nobody buying.
Anyone gone to this show? Worth the trip?
My buddy said just goto your local gun store and buy whatever you want, it will be way cheaper... 200 round of 9mm 115g target for $75??? wtf!!!

I would like to know if the CTC grip guy was there? anyone go and can confirm or deny?
    thanks.

How crowded was it? Id go mostly looking at holsters. Were there many venders with holsters?

Lot of people standing around but you could walk the isles without too much trouble. I didn't see too many holsters around but wasn't shopping for them either. The usual vendor with the one size fits most nylon holsters were there. Another table had leather goods but it looked like mostly cowboy stuff.

I was thinking of going, did anyone see what ammo was looking like? I am looking for 7.62x54R for decent price, dont really want to spend 5 dollars just to walk around.

Same old gun show at the fair grounds. I walked around for about an hour and saw what I wanted, Met Dave who sells wood pistol grips and found Bradsknives to pick up my new pocket knife and left. There was a lot of people inside but didn't see much stuff going out the door.

Was they guy there that has all the mags tie wrapped down?

Did he have a good selection?

I'm looking for a few different mags, but I don't want to waste my time if there aren't any mags.

Bought 1000 rds. of PMC Bronze .223 for $500 and 7 NIP non window PMags for $140. Good day!

7 new PMAGs for $20 each? Nice.

I was at the show around 2 and the cheapest pmags mags on any table were $75 each.

I haven't been to a CP show in about 8 months. I was reminded why I don't go to them again today.

It'll be another year before I go back (nothing to do with the post-CT prices, that was to be expected for the most past, just the show and vendors in general there).

I did buy a ticket to the Marine Corps raffle, highlight of the show.

I walked around for an hour trying to find something to trade a Sheild, MP45 and a 6.8 upper. .223 was .60 to 1.20 per round. A few compact glocks. Tons of Taurus junk. AR's were 1600 to 3000. Mags at 2x to 5x original cost. Even the Russian ammo and guns were outrageous. Disgusting!

All i can say is there are still dealers online and locally that won't gouge it's customers. Picked up 5.56 xm193 for .40 per round, usgi ar mags for $17 and glock 17 mags for $25.

I went to both Crown Point and Schereville show. Picked up 2 boxes of .30 carbine for a reasonable price and a buddy picked up a nice Norwegian colt 1911.
Schereville show was in and out in 10 minutes, wasted 5 bucks

No, I didn't go to the Crown Point show. We went to Schereville, and ended up buying a S&W 15-22 for $450. Not too bad for these days. Still have my Bushy!
