Anyone know the legalities of it? As something to carry until i get my LTCH back? It lapsed a little while ago and i'm not able to afford getting it again right now.

It is legal to carry. I would make sure you get 10%. Also every once and a while, it needs to be sprayed for maintenance purposes.

I carry it most the time. Not illegal in Indiana. Yes, replace it once a year or so.

legal and even after you get your LTCH again its still nice to have, less than lethal is always better, if possible.

I like the FOX brand , just don't make the mistake of getting any on you .

It tends to ruin the next couple hours or so .

The one i got from my father in law is a Freeze +p CS/OC but when i noticed you guys mention it should be replaced every year or so, i took a closer look. It expired 10/05. Guess i'll actually need to shell out the cash :P

Just because it's expired doesn't mean it doesnt work anymore. At work we take the expired ones and put them in the cars incase we have to spray a dog. I've sprayed several and it still works as good as when it was used.

Ok I'll keep that in mind before dropping money on a new one. I didn't really want to spend more money on one since I had just bought my wife one.

I'd get away from the foam. The stream is a lot better and more effective IMO.

I use Mace brand pepper foam in the 113 gram (3.98 oz) can and it shoots 15 feet and covers well. It works for me.
