I did all my requirements in a day and had my license 4 days later. I am glad they do the online thing now.

L-1 on 4/26 with money order. Paid local fee on 4/27 and everything was mailed in. Still waiting..hopefully tomorrow!

I applied online 4/30, did L1 prints (paid state fee there w/ money order) and went to the sheriff's dept all on 5/5. Still waiting... Anxiously waiting, can't wait for it to get here!

As I posted earlier, all got sent off to the state on the 26th of April, and still waiting.

I really should have done the L-1.

L-1 fingerprints on 4/29, stopped by my local PD on 5/6 (Noblesville - asked me to wait for my background check to complete before stopping in), permit received on 5/11. Less than two weeks total!

I finally received mine on Saturday 5/14. Did the L1 prints and it took 9 days!

I applied for my LTCH on March 13. The checks were cashed March 21st. I received my license TODAY! (May 17th). The date on the license said it was issued May 13. 2 months exactly.

Wife applied for her's March 2. Have not seen anything yet. Is there anyway to check on it?

I got my prints done at L-1 on May 3rd, after paying via debit card online. Made my local payment the next day. Issued 5/13, Got my permit today.
The lady at Westfield PD told me it would be up to 20 weeks, it ended up being less than 2 weeks.

I Just received mine last week and applied for it at the end of February. They told me 10 - 12 weeks and that is about what it took. I also had a 4 year permit about 10 yrs ago and let it expire then decided to go reapply for the lifetime.

The phone number for the State police Firearms licensing is 317-233-5054, but they have kind of short hours, and I'm not convinced you can actually reach anyone, or get an update at this number, but I would make sure you have your application number before you call.

When you call the ISP Firearms Division you will hear a recorded message that explains the wait, how to track the progress with money order, etc. Just hold on and eventually it will send you through to actually talk to a live person. Or you can e-mail them the ISP website.

I paid the expedited fee, and received my license in 10 days.

Can the fee at IMPD be paid with cash? Or money order/check only? Ive already paid via L1 state online and will be printed tomorrow, then off to the county building downtown.

At last wife got her LTCH today. Took 11 weeks. Now to get her out to the range in the yard.
