Forgot to update earlier. Got mine the end of last week. So almost 2 months to the day, using the "old way".

Highly recomend L1 to anyone going for a licence.

Applied online for my wife and I on July 4 (makes sense...) - went to L1 on July 5th, went to Hendricks County Sheriff's office July 6.

Received our LTCH's today.

7 days from when I finished my part. Not bad.

Went to L1 and the Sheriff's office on July 1 for wife's license.

Received license yesterday, July 13, post marked July 12.

According to the license it was issues on July 6, so they took their sweet time getting it in the mail.

Overall good experience!

Four weeks seems to be the trend amoung the thread contributors- I've had mine for a few years - I dont remember exactly how long it took but I do remember being surprised that it didn't take longer.

UPDATE: received in mail today, issued on 7/27...so 5 days to issue, 7 to my door

West Lafayette Jurisdiction

Applied through L1 online June 26. Scheduled to have fingerprints digitally at W. Laf Police station within the week. 1 week wait after prints, then Returned to police station to pay local fees . License issued on the 18th of July. Approximately 2 weeks from time of fingerprints to receiving license.

I applied for mine last year they said it would take 4 to 8 weeks but is was more like 10 to 12. Not sure which but it took awhile..

Applied for my LTCH on Jul 14, and received on Aug 1st.

Used L1 Security Solutions, suppose to receive within 10 to 14 days.

I guess 18 days wasn't bad.

I filled out my online app on 7/14 and got fingerprinted via L1 and paid local fee on 7/18 and still have not received my license. Going on 13 business days...

i applied for mjne in april 2011 i did it all electronicly including finger printing it only took three weeks. If you haven't started yet then do it all on puter then get fingerprinted electronicly

Went Downtown Indy to get fingerprinted through L1 on July 12 2011 after I did online app on Monday night I got my lifetime permit on Aug 4 it was issued on Aug 1 2011

I started my application at the end of June online, L1 fingerprinted on July 25th, paid local fee July 26th and now I'm waiting for my permit. Hopefully I'll get it sometime this coming week.
