Current LTCH Wait

applied July 7, 2011, have not gotten it yet. I DID NOT go the L1 route... might get it this month.

Applied online 6/18/2011.

Fingerprints (Lawrence County Sheriff's Office)/mailed application w/money order on 6/24/2011.

Received permit on 8/10/2011.

Time from mailing of application to receiving permit - 47 days.

7/25/11 - Filled out online app and got fingerprints done at L-1.

7/27/11 - Went to local PD to pay local fee and finish application.

8/10/11 - Received LTCH.

Finally got my wife to get hers. This is almost the exact time frame she went through. I was shocked how fast it came. Came in the mail Wed.

7/27/11 - Went to local PD to pay local fee and finish application.

8/10/11 - Received LTCH.

I just called the ISP Firearms division to check on mine. My L-1 was submitted on 7/25 and paid my local on 7/26. She told me it had been 13 business days and if I don't receive it after next week to call them back.

Finally received mine yesterday (8/20) after waiting almost 30 days. I don't know why it took so long for mine but everyone else is getting theirs fairly quickly. Maybe a lot of people have the same name and it took awhile to sort out? IDK

My local chief of Police told me about L1, which at first I laughed, because his badge number happens to be "L-1".

Filled out app on 3/10, did L1 on 3/12. Opened my mailbox on 3/25 to find my pink slip! First and last time I will have to apply!

I applied for my 4 year license in feb. didnt get mine until May... so 12 weeks.

I applied for my lifetime on 08/03/11 at the county sheriff's and it arrived today. Much quicker than the 12-16 weeks i was told it would take.

My wife's came in the mail today, took about 10 days, she used the L-1 services.

I applied for my 4 year LTCH three weeks ago today. I suppose from the posts here that I have at least another month to wait. Today I have to go to downtown Indy. Would have been a great time to have it.

I applied on 8/23 for the lifetime, was told 6-8 weeks.

Was told 7 to 10 days. Received it in 7.
