Eight (8) months and nine (9) days.

Applied June 18th, 2013, did L1 electronic fingerprinting, and paid local (Greenwood/Johnson County) fees in cash all on the same day. I have a clean record so the verification of my permanent residency status was probably what took the longest. Thanks everyone for sharing your stories, it helped keep hope alive the last few months.

I'm in the middle of the process now but am confused as to where to go next in Indy. Got E-fingerprinted yesterday. Where do I go in Indy; City County Building or Indianapolis Police Department? What room / floor? Do you have to pay by cash, check, or money order.
Thanks for any info and I'll let you know how long it takes.

Applied for LTCH in Batesville/Ripley Co and paid dues to local PD and did L1 fingerprints on 12/4/13. They told me 2-4, and have nothing yet. My record is perfect. Any reason why it is taking so much longer than most?

Those Batesville people are a little slow to begin with.

    Sincerely,
Guy who's dad and wife are both from Batesville. :yesway:

Any OWI, marijuana or public intoxication charges that have been a part of a pre trial diversion? On your application did you mark anything in regard to mental health issues?? Any of these things could have delayed your application.

Also, maybe the county didn't send your application in in a timely manner.

I hope your wife isn't an internet snooper…

She's too busy making blankets and dealing with pharmacy robberies. ;)

The most trouble I've had with the law was a verbal warning for not having my headlights on when I was 17 haha
