Bought my sons lifetime for his 18th birthday on May 21st. Did the online portion that day and fingerprint a few days later. His liscence came to the house 6-5-2016. Not a bad turn around this was in porter county.

My my wife's permit only took three weeks.

Got printed and payed at the end of march. Just got my new license last week. Get this... my town marshal didn't send in my fee. The Sheriff's secretary sent him a gentle reminder. Glad I went with the lifetime this go round. Never again.

Anybody know how long on average it takes for IMPD to approve the application and send it to ISP? I'm under the impression that they basically rubber stamp the application since we are a shall issue state, but didn't know if that's what is actually happening.

Did just that, am now approved, couldent tell me what the hold up was though, 90 days later...
