Custom made stock patterns

My son has laminated his boards and is now looking for a pattern to cut out and custom make a stock for his 22 rifle. Something like a Mcmillian a5 style. Any help would be great. He is a teenager and is really working hard at making this

I would suggest taking measurements from the factory stock and then drawing it out on some paper to scale. Sounds like a great idea though and I hope it works out. Post up some pics if/when he finishes it.
