OP and I will meet up at his convenience when schedules align.
The 1911 in question is one of mine. I am very interested as to what has gone askew.
Full report with pics when I can.

OK. Yup it was one of the last MilSpecs I did about 2 years ago. I was seeing issues using Wilson parts so this was probably one of the last I used them in. All EGW all the time these days. I am hearing of even better ones out there.

Sear had worn in a touch and the spring etc had lightened up a full 1/2 Lb. The sear was no the same width across the face. The hammer hooks measured out.
I took it all the way down and addressed every contact point in the Ignition group.

Put it back together checking everything. Trigger breaks like crystal right at 3lbs.
    OP loves it.

Not a bad looking MilSpec. All the stainless is Wilson and fit to this gun. ArchAngel magwell grips with Pearce enhancements.

Couldn’t wait. Had to get it to the range.

Ringing steel at 50 yards with a perfect trigger.

5 magazines, no issues. Couldn’t be happier.

    Thanks a million Churchmouse!

Glad everything has worked out so well. Churchmouse thumbs up for standing tall. LordTio3 hope many years for great shooting. It is a true joy to shoot a nice custom gun.
