I have decided to buy a 9mm handgun as my first purchase.

I have shopped around some and have seen Glock, S&W, Beretta, a couple Sigs, but I am yet to come across a CZ 9mm of any kind.

I am afraid that I am not doing my due diligence unless I look at those also.

Most of my looking had been the I65 corridor south of Columbus.

Does any one out there know of a place that usually stocks the CZ's from Indy south?

CZs are generally harder to find. They are not well known here in the USA. Those who have them, have held them, or have tried them tend to LOVE them. The problem has always been trying to find them!!!

Its well worth the effort.

Gander Mountain often has them in stock if you want to hold one and see what you think. Of course, I'd then look online to find it elsewhere. Try Davidson's, as a distributor they'll require you put in your zip code and then list the nearest LGS to you that it will ship to.

Bradis had a couple in stock when I was there last Sunday (Dec 23rd). There was a very nice nickel plated one as well as a couple of others IIRC. Call first though, since stuff if flying of the shelf at most gun shops.

Be warned - if you find one, don't pick it up!!!!

Once you put in in your had you will end up buying it, they are that ergonomic!

Also try the Baby Desert Eagle. It's basically a streamlined CZ-75. I love the grip on mine.

I'm surprised no one mentioned KS&E. He had one last time I was there and he's a CZ dealer and can make you a great deal on a CZ if you're willing to wait.
