Had no Idea how wonderful the SIG P365 Macro & XL were until I finally shot them, I’m a owner of both now and these firearms will keep my Shields and Shield+ in the safe for a bit. Both the 3.1” Macro Comp & the 3.7” XL shoot as well as most of my 5” pistols. If you haven’t given a P365 a chance I would encourage you to do so.

I have 3 P365 series guns and will agree they're great. However, since you mentioned CZ, here's my latest CZ purchase:

I don't have Signess as I only own a P320 XCompact not milled for optics, a P229 railed no optics and a P365 XMacro comp cut for optics but still not sporting any as the only holster I have is not optics ready. Whew!

Is that an X-compact you put together? I had thought all factory X-compacts were OR.

I love my Sig 365's! My department issued 365 and my personally owned Sig 365XL and the 365 Tac Ops.

I assumed these were plastic, based on the price, but then I see Cerakote in the description. Are they plastic? And they only take the Macro mags?

    Looks great, whatever it is.

    .
    Plastic can be cerakoted.

    • X-Macro sized modules can only take x-macro sized mags.
    • XL sized modules can take XL (12 round mags flush fit) & X-macro mags.
    • Standard 365 can take standard (flush fit 10 round), as well as XL mags, and X-macro mags.

Yes, I’m thinking they are stippled & painted factory SIG lowers. If you navigate the Armory Craft webpage you will find 12 round lowers as well.

if you guys like the 365XL then you should look at their new 365 version; p365 legion. boy oh boy they look nice but the price not so much.

    p365-axg-legion.html

Buddy of mine brought his P365 AXG Legion to the range and it's nice, but has the worst trigger of any P365 I've ever shot. Gritty and felt heavier than any of the P365 variants I have. After spending $1200 on the gun, now he has to have the trigger worked on as well. Personally I'll skip the Legion version.

I wouldn't write off the Legion line if you like the other features. The FCUs are all basically the same. I've had the opportunity to interact with a good number of P320s and P365s, and have noticed a pretty broad variance in trigger pulls out of the box. Some are great, some are pretty gritty and crappy from the get-go. Most will smooth out with some use, cleaning, and good lubrication. Unless they're putting in some extra QC on the FCUs that are going into the Legions (which I doubt), I'd image that you're just as likely to get a sub-par Legion trigger out of the box as you would be if you bought a standard P365.
