Dan Carlin's Hardcore History

Anyone a fan of podcasts? Dan Carlin does what is, hands down, the best history one I've heard. I figure most on here are history fans so I thought I'd share.

Prophets of doom is good short(er) one, about the Munster Rebellion. It's 4.5 hours long.

Subjects include a 6 part series on WWI, Teddy Roosevelt and American exceptional ism, and most recently he's started a series on the Persian empire.

He also has a much shorter podcast series called Common Sense that deals with the political

It's really the greatest thing on a long plane or car ride, or really whenever you have free time.

My 12 year old and I listened to the series on the Mongols. Unreal. He is great. We learned a ton. Aidan still drops knowledge every once in a while on genghis khan.

Huge hardcore history fan. "Ghosts of the Ostfront" has been my favorite so far! Highly recommended! "Blueprint for Armageddon" is a must listen to for anybody interested in WWI.
