Fort Lewis boots was my first Danner boots. I loved them things. I've bought 2 pair from them in the last 5 years. I get free 2 day shipping.

Just ordered me a pair of Bull Run Wellington at an $88 savings. These were my go-to work boot for years and my new pair were my dress boot until they were needed for work boots.

I got a pair myself. My old ones are shot. They weren't Danner. Plus Danner has a 1 year warranty on their boots as well unless you are active duty military then it's 3 months on military boots which is still great because many boots got worn out in 3 months. My Fort Lewis boots lasted a year or better most of the time.

Edit:
If I bought a pair of Fort Lewis boots today they would probably last the rest of my life lol.

My foot is W I D E, and for you other guys with a wide foot, give a pair of Danner's with the outsole stitching a try, you'll never go back to a Goodyear welt. The extra room gained from it results in a zero break in period with no hot spots or blisters.

I've never seen those or my old favorite Ft Lewis in the clearance sales. They are some of the best selling boots they make.

Already wore them and scuffed them. I've got approximately 362 days left to see if they will fall apart for warranty work. I've never had to use it yet, but it's nice to have.

My inner soles wore out so I contacted Danner via chat.
Anna K said that my warranty just recently expired, but since it so close she went ahead, and ordered replacements for me shipped to me at no charge.
That's the kind if customer service that has kept me a customer for years.

Not complaining but seems like for active duty they would increase warranty time frame?

For me I have never tried them but I am lucky to get 3 months out of my boots. so perhaps with looking into?
