This is one reason all citizens should be taught firearms safety and marksmanship in public schools, as a preparation for their entry to the unorganized militia at 17.

Bonus if they already have the skills and knowledge from their elders.

See, I’d like to think that a ghost, that has somehow figured out how to defeat death and STILL be able to communicate with the living, would be on the smarter side of the scale.
