    What: Package Deal: NRA Defensive Pistol and TTBSA Defensive Handgun 201.
    When:
    • NRA Defensive Pistol: Saturday, October 10th from 7:45AM-5:30PM.
    • Defensive Handgun 201: Sesion-1: Wednesday, November 18th from 5:30PM to 8:30PM; Session-2: Sunday November 22nd from 3:00PM to 8:30PM.
    • Where: Marion County Fish and Game Association
    How Much: $200. A Savings of $100 off of the price for the individual classes.
    Description: These two classes together teach how to effectively use a handgun to defend against a violent attack. We cover levels of awareness; psychology and physiology of a criminal attack; loading and reloading; malfunction clearing; flash sight picture and point shooting and much more. The classes culminate with the Tueller drill and a drop-target drill, respectively.
    What to Bring: A handgun, either semi-automatic or revolver in any caliber but a minimum of 9mm/.38 Special is recommended. At least 150 (200 is advised) rounds of ammunition is required. Inexpensive Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) "range ammo" such as "Winchester White Box" or similar is perfectly fine. If you have use a backup gun (BUG) then bring 50 rounds for that as well. A holster that fits your gun(s). It must be for your Shooting-side hand. If you bring a backup gun, the holster for it can be for Shooting-side or Support-side. At least two magazines for semi-automatics. A speed-loader for revolvers is recommended but not required. Two magazines for your BUG is also required. A thorough list of what to bring will be provided upon registration.
