this is just a thread to capture the impressions from the defensive pistol calsses from ACT..
i did the 101 early summer and the 201 just recently - and here are my impressions:
1) extremely competent (and SAFE!) training
2) very competent instructors - with a high focus on the needs of the shooter - so there was pleanty of time for feedback and individual improvement
3) focus on the individual - if it works for you - then they focus on improving that - if it does not they will teach you better ways
4) 101 has a lot of theory and philosophy built into it - and is the foundation
5) 201 is just plain fun - you get to use all the 101 lessons and it is made real
In short - this comes with a high recommendation - and if you want to carry it is a must...
