NICE! I really like his quote "Get the 'lawbreakers', gang bangers, etc... out, not honest, hardworking etc..."

I love it how we need a law to enforce a law. GEEZ!

At least he has the courage of his convictions and is willing to make a stand, whether you agree with him or not. That's more than can be said for most of the population.

^This you may not like his stance on issues but you must give the man credit for staying the course and not changing them or his tactics. He is an in your face, this is where I stand type of politician. Better than most of the flip-flopser we have now.

    We can only hope.......

The congressman was born in Chicago, IL and is of puerto rican decent. So not sure where you want to deport him to? :dunno: Back to Puerto Rico? :dunno:

    Best observation yet.....

But he is doing EXACLTY what his voters want him to do. The vast majority of voters in his district want the "illegal immigration" issues fixed. He is for amnesty if I recall correctly.

So why would he lose his job? Heck no this just makes him "better" in the eyes of his base. It's no different that say congresmen abc introducing a new pro-gun law even if it has no chance to win. The gun base would be all fired up that their rep is doing something.

cool. I try not to take the internet to serious, especially the political aspects of it. Do I give the guy credit for standing up for his convictions? yes, I do, but I don't think that WE the taxpayers should be paying for it.

I thought that all of our public officials in DC swore an oath to protect and defend the constitution. I guess the oath only covers the parts of the constitution they agree with.

This rep is advocating the opposite of what he swore he would do. And openly at that!

I can't give him any props for "standing up for what he believes in" because he is calling for breaking the law.

What part of the constitution regulates immigration? Article 1, section 8 delegates determining the rules for naturalization to Congress. The Supreme Court has ruled that this necessarily includes the rules for immigration. Since the guy is a Congressman, and the constitution specifically delegates to him the power to participate in the rule-making regarding immigration and naturalization, and he is advocating for a change in those rules, which even the constitution agrees is within his power to do, how can he be said in any way to be violating the constitution?

didn't you pay attention is school it is a "living document" written by a punch of old perverts who were smoking weed and had no idea what was to come. So now the wise liberal/progressive/socialist/whatever you call them now have to fix the world under the rules of the flawed living document. Now just stay where you are the .gov will be by shortly to start your sensitivity training.
