    Okay I am in the market but I want to spend under $100 Garmin, Piranha and Lowrance make units under 100 does anyone have any experience with any of these units?

    I have garmins on both my bayboat & g3 skiff. They were right under
    $100 black & white & they work great. When you get into skinny water
    they are not near as accurate. Pretty much everything from 2-3 feet
    & above measures on target. I cannot remember the model number,
    maybe garmin 120.

    I only use it for depth & contour of the bottom. Although when I am over
    some sort of structure that holds fish, it will show it very well.

    Thanks for the input guys I went ahead on got the Lowrance X4 gander had a 20 off when you spend 100 so I got a battery box and another life vest pretty much for free! plus free shipping!
