HAHAHAHAHAHA! One? No. In my experience it's a percentage. I've estimated, at least for me, it's about 33% of home improvement projects that I don't do myself.

Example,

me doing my own retaining wall: Whew! Finally done, grass should come in nicely. Oops! Did I remember to tie that perimeter drain in? Oh crap. Dig it all up, check the drain, nope. It's loose. Fix it. Put it all back, re-grade, reseed.

Contractor: did you remember to tie in the perimeter drain? "Um, yeah. Of course."

I just got approved for mine at the end of September had one that expired a few years ago when they still had paper applications and the ink and roll prints.. everything is so much quicker and smoother now.. EXCEPT one extra trip to Goodwill to get printed

I was wondering the same thing. I got printed at the local sheriff's office. I've been printed at the UPS store before though. But of all places, Goodwill? There's a good joke in there somewhere but I just don't have time to figure out what it is.

yeah the career/job center for Goodwill is the only place in Saint Joseph County that does the fingerprinting.. Maybe I should have clarified it wasn't actually in the Goodwill store but in the office adjacent to it

I almost lived that damned sig.

(I wasnt arrested, but the officer did threaten to come to my home later and arrest me if the address on my Larry didnt match what ISP said if they got back with him after he cut me loose... after holding me for 45 minutes)

While I didn't get printed there, the only place that used to do it in my county was at a local hotel. And it was once or twice a month. Now there is no place in my county to have it done.
