Detail paint for guns?

Hey everyone I just put a down payment on a Spike's AR. I noticed the spider on the side was not painted. I was wondering if I should try to paint it or what?

I think you can order them already painted if I remember correctly. You could probably contact spikes and have them do it so it looks like it is supposed to from the factory. Congrats on the new rifle and welcome to INGO!!!

I painted the engraving on my pistol with a $2 bottle of Testor's enamel model paint and it's stood up to two years of cleaning and shooting.
