Were any charges filed against license holders since it is illegal to have a gun in a Post Office parking lot?

Didn't mention any. I don't think the local constabulary would worry about this anyway.

Then Somebody on social media claims this is a finer grained detail of the event:
"2 guys met up for transaction. A black guy jumped in white guys car and tried to rob him instead of buying something, so the white guy shot him. He has a gun permit. He went to Decatur. He stayed on the scene and was taken in for questioning. He was released. Said it was self defense"


Then it turns out it was poor little Dindu Nuffin that is gone too early.

Cry me a river if the first story is true. Speaking strictly on the assumption this wasnt his first crime, too bad the cancer didnt take him and save others grief.

The shooting is from over a year ago, but the conclusion just occurred a couple days ago:

Florence man dismissed of murder charges

Circuit judge Will Powell stated in the order of dismissal, Marcus Weakley was justified when using deadly physical force when he shot and killed Patton Shipley in June of 2018.
A testimony stated during a hearing that Shipley shot at Weakley first.

Following the link in that story to an original reporting of the incident, it doesn't sound like Mr. Weakley hung around to talk to the police after shooting two guys, one of whom died.

Attempted armed robbery in Franklin foiled after owner pulls personal gun

Two guys in masks point gun at store owner, store owner pulls his own gun, maskees flee, no shots fired as far as I can tell.

The clerk in that video appears to have been more motivated to use the gun than the criminal.

In all cases: Threatened/attempted murder and mayhem in the course of a robbery, the mad dogs need "PUT DOWN" immediately and permanently.

Otherwise they will succeed in murder or mayhem in the future.

Ex-boyfriend decided to kick down ex-girlfriend's door while current, armed, boyfriend was present. Ex-boyfriend incurred multiple gunshot wounds but still managed to run away, found by police and taken to hospital.

Employee fires back after shoots into Little Fish House near Thomasville

Investigators learned that an attempted robber tried to get into the business, but, when they were not allowed to get in, the robber pulled out a gun and allegedly shot into the business.
An employee fired back. Deputies do not know if the robber was hit.
