Did I get the first tick of 2014?

i am always in the woods in the warmer months fishing and would almost never get any ticks on me.....untill last year. i dont know if there was an abundance last year or if they just decided they liked me. there was one trip last summer where i found them in my truck for 3 days afterwards

Went to the neighbors for a cold one this afternoon and pulled three off of their dog. We were out in the woods cutting firewood today but haven't found any on me so far.

SkinNFluff I have a dog that has the same problem. If we don't put the bug off stuff on her she pulls out her hair and tears her skin up. We have to keep that stuff on her year around. Me, I have to keep Off on me or I get eaten up by fleas. For us it started about two weeks ago. That was when I got my first bite.

Doesn't appear that cold slowed em down. pulled 5 i think off the dog. 3 since wearing tick collar which are usually pretty effective.
