Dillon SDB Crimp Die Question

I am a newbie to reloading. Just got it all set up and ready except my powder dump and crimp die adjustment.

Got my recommended load data from Bob Londrigan at Brazos's. My crimp is set at factory settings at 1.125" and I need to be at a 1.20 - 1.22. Not sure how this is done and it is not in the instructions. I have researched Enos and others, most are for .45 I am loading .40 S&W for an STI.

Any information would be a welcome.

are you talking crimp or Over All Length (OAL)?

those just adjust up and down with a wrench.

Now you know what the bullet puller is for, making those little adjustments.

Just make sure you disconnect the powder rod and empty the primer tube when testing your lengths.

Did you get some calipers yet?

I got everything I need but a finger and Zen!! just picked up my powder and ready to load since I can't shoot!
Mongo called me asked me how I already F'ed a Dillon up! He's gonna come o er tomorrow and help and shoot some!

Well we are all dialed in. Mongo and Dareick came down today. Working, running good, crimp right. Due to my disability at the moment Mongo burst 18 round and it run good and felt fine!!! Can wait to feel it my self after recovery!
