It's a big plane relative to the size of a man, lost in a huge world relative to the size of a man.

We don't have radar everywhere. And the Malaysians haven't been straight with us through this whole ordeal.

But we have a government with god like powers. It can do anything and everything. Obama is god come to earth, a god-king who knows everything.

Look at our fears of a police state. If the American government has the power to rule us with a rod of fire then they must have the power to track every person on the planet.

I don't know if that was "purple" or not, but don't let's confuse the ability of our government to be a pain in the backside to us with the technical capability to be all-seeing/all-knowing. If we truly had that capability, the end of the Cold War and the current Russian shenanigans in Ukraine wouldn't have taken us by surprise.

My point was that they are just as hopeless, just as clueless, with respect to regulating us as they are in dealing with the world. I think we have done a good job of scaring ourselves. And the government types are more than willing to let us do it. In reality most federal types do not want to have to do any real work. Most are on the work avoidance plan.
