Last night 20/20 was reporting that there are bounties out for informants to give up the name of the SEALs for media. Kinda like the flippin' popperazzi b.s., Washington claims they are doing "what they can" to protect their identities. WTF, last person I'm gonna p-off is a member of that group!

How can you run out and trademark a name that already exists in the public realm that has absolutely nothing to do with you? This is another example of why trademark and copyright laws need to be reformed.

Nothing like capitalizing off of some others hard earned name and deeds. Disney should be ashamed of this.

All of that other stuff with outing the SEAL team and the constant chatter should never have started. That's just plain old BS. Someone is trying to make hay off of this event.:xmad:

Doesn't an entity have to have some type of legitimate link to a phrase before they can trademark it? I've read of similar cases where somebody trademarked some phrase hoping to cash in on it but courts later overuled their trademark. I'm not really sure the connection between Disney and Seal Team 6!
