    JB's in Bloomington won't take it whole or any other ones around here.....i have one too that needs to go...:(

    This is the problem I have, been looking around for some easy way to cut it up. Might get something for the engine, was told it was a 427.

    Sometimes you get lucky and you can find someone that will buy it, put a few bucks in it, and run it a few years. We did that with an old Buick Century and my brother just did it with an old Nissan Altima. Both had shot engines but were otherwise in half-way decent shape (considering the age and mileage). We took an old Ford Escape to Goodman's Recycling here in Bedford/Mitchell a few years ago...handed them the title and we got like $300 out of it.

    I've got a school bus I need to get rid of, no title though.

    I have a friend at work that is all the time buying and trading Studebakers (and other old cars). From his description, it doesn't sound like it's all that difficult to get a title. Just have to go through the hoops the state requires.
