DIY front strap checkering?

How do you feel about this orange front night sight? I can get you white if you prefer, this is just what I had in stock. I think it looks better in person than the pic. It is a Trijicon HD

Allen, I got a chance to shoot it this afternoon. That front sight is great! I wish I had done the front strap long ago. I’m 110% pleased with it. I’m ready for redemption at Friday Night Steel!

Good color choice. Quick for the eye to pick up. Saw a high end .45 on G-broker that had a diamond inserted in a gold ring for a front site. Gun was like $6000 with the 'bling.'

I just installed a set of yellow HDs on my DW A2 Commander and those things really do grab your eye. I've got orange HDs on another gun and they don't grab your eye as well as the HDs do, but that might be due to my color vision issues.
