    West of somewhere
    I was gonna buy some but I decided for a few bucks of sand and spare materials I had around I could maybe make something better myself...

    Here's the first one, finished:


    Here's the materials cut and laid out. I cut up some old cargo pants for fabric, and used a black plastic trash bag as the inner lining. I used spray adhesive to attach the pieces and laid them on top of each-other to cut them to match. I also had some pleather which I used on the top and bottom pieces.

    Here's how I attached the top curved piece to the front and back pieces

    Here it is ready for filling

    I hand sewed the end once filled, each is about 25 pounds of sand

    I'm ready for a range trip!


    Took about 5 hours.

    Nice job. I have several shot bags I filled with sand and then sewed up, not fancy but they work and the cost was nearly free. Stole the idea from my neighbor since I like the DIY stuff.
