The motion detection for instant on has sold me on their dots. Have one on an AR and one on aScorpion for over a year now and love em. The RMR on my legion seems every bit as capable. (And I don’t see a bunch of grapes in it)

So the question is now should I go with an Elite or the Legion? The legion just seems kind of ready to go but I hear good things about the Elite too. I think the big thing for me is I want the red dot on top. Is the one that comes on the Legion any good or should I just have a shop cut it for an RMR?
Both are great guns but I'd probably opt for the Legion. You can add parts to the Elite to get 98% of the Legion feature set but it will cost just as much and when done, you will still have an Elite. Should you later decide to sell it, you'll get more of your money back out of the Legion

I owned a Sig 220 many moons ago. It was one of the most accurate handguns I've ever owned but it was not a CC piece.
Full sized P220 or the P220 Carry? 4.4" barrel vs 3.9" barrel. (Grip and frame are the same size.)
And while .5" does not seem like a lot, it is a big difference for us IWB folks.

No sir, that is the P220 Elite Dark Carry.
This is the full sized version (notice the longer slide in relation to the frame):

Also, the Carry version has "melted edges" on the slide and a few other places.

I was responding to your question...a few posts up where you asked if the Sig 220 I owned was full sized.

Saw this on that other site the other day. It's a case hardened style anodizing that looks really nice. The intention was to build an homage to guns of the old west. I like how it turned out

I think after these posts, I'll need to go on a search for a 229 Nightmare. Passed up one awhile back and now regret it.

I’ve begun to carry the P226 in 9mm for summer carry now. Two spare mags give me 55 rounds total of incredibly easy to shoot opportunities to resolve social situations, should they come a knocking.

Recoil gunworks had some nice p226 9mm police trade in pistols. Very decent priced. I just didn't have the extra to get one. Wish I had but was rough at the time financially.
