Well, since it's a military caliber... It's a must have.
Those calibers have been quite successful.
Besides, they make you feel good and give you a testosterone rush just saying it.

It's a good caliber not to mention I like shooting this round in my FN FAL and my M14.

If you haven't tried long range shooting and you like a challenge, you definitely need to give it a try. After that, you may find you NEED a .308.
