The DNR released some trail-camera photos last year of one in Greene County, Indiana. A friend of mine who works at Crane NSWC says they put out a safety alert last year that there was supposedly a mountain lion in that area also.
We aren't supposed to have them but apparently there are a couple of them around. I know I don't want them anywhere around my area.

Just curious, have you seen any law breakin OCers at the E'ville Zoo by chance?

Mountain man? You mean a man wearing animal skin and a raccoon hat with a big knife? Yeah, that would be scary. But not if you're armed.

Several years ago, a patient (no, I won't violate HIPPA) walked from somewhere in Elkhart county, where he lived on a friends property in a tent, to our then office in South Bend. Then walked back. Mountain man-no. But very self reliant.
