    I always keep any parts from upgrades and any spare parts (recoil springs, etc) in labeled baggies. Makes it easy to identify when selling, maintaining, and fixing a gun.

    That's about it for me to.

    My SHTF strategy is for spare guns, not spare parts.

    I own several Clocks, I have considered buying both a complete slide and receiver parts kit, seems I would never need it and I have swapped out enough stock parts I probably have enough parts to rebuild one.

    Looks like $200 in parts to completely rebuild one, would suck as I have a 26-19-17 platforms so $600 in parts I will never use seems stupid.
