I wanted to see what percentage of INGOers that shoot in a competitive shooting sport. Doesn't matter what it is...Tactical, 3 gun, Cowboy action, Sporting Clays, Skeet, etc...

    A: Yes I do

    B: NO I don't

    C: Would like to try

    D: Don't have the kahoonas

I love shooting steel plates. Napannee Conservation Club on Wednesday nights. But since I work Wednesday nights now, I don't get to go much.

I shoot cowboy action matches regularly. I could shoot every Saturday and Sunday every weekend of every month except for December, January and February. Just once a month during the 3 cold months. Generally shoot 3 to 4 matches a month.

Outside of the occasional Friday Night Steel? No.

Although I'm hopeful I can start reloading within the next year or two so I don't feel so guilty burning up the rounds competitions require.

Just started USPSA. Been shooting steel matches all summer. I see a lot more to come next spring. Need to move to a area where i can shoot all year outside.

I think most that know me know I compete in NRA Highpower Rifle. I started in 1998 and still enjoy humping an AR (or M1-A) & a bunch of gear from the 200 yd line out to 600 yards.

I answered yes but I haven't seriously competed for a number of years. I won Class championships in State and Regional Action Pistol matches, shot at the Bianchi Cup, the Grand and in 97 won the Indiana State Muzzle Loading Skeet Championship.

These day I just shoot some local competitions for the most part.

I did for awhile. Now married with children with college paying on school loans so no funds to send down range. Still dabble when I can.

It is a lot of fun when people are watching and under stress of the clock. Separates out the bench racers real quick.
