Doing the hard way to figure out how many rounds are left in a magazine....... Xray

Ok so no real reason in this other than I wanted to Xray more stuff since I am able to. I work in a veterinary office and have access to a Radiograph machine. Even though AR mags are pretty straightforward I thought it would be interesting to see what they looked like and how easy you could count the rounds in the mag. Turns out pretty damn easy..... if anyone cares the empty mag is a AR-stoner and the mag with rounds in it is ASC mag.

That could be interesting on what shows up ..... in my other post I xrayed some ammo and the shotgun shells plastic doesnt show up at all

if it had rounds in it, they might look like they're floating

Didn't use enough kV, so the more dense parts are too dark. I'll do another x-ray next week at Bomb Squad training if I remember.

You do realize that anything you shoot with that x-rayed ammo will either grow exponentially, develop "spidey" senses, or gain the ability to "hulk out"!

Not sure. Pretty old from the condition it was in.
