Looking to restore my Sig P-220. Wanting to do something different... But I'm not sure what. Any ideas to get me started would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking maybe a new paint job and an extended barrel with a lighter trigger but I'm new to all this. I'll upload some pictures tonight.

Is your pistol railed or not?

There's a guy over on GlockTalk that had a railed Sig that he had machined / blended to a "non-railed" pistol. Fantastic work.

Expensive...drastic... But SigPhiles hate the railed pistols.

It has normal holster wear for being made in 1995 and a couple of scratches here and there... As of right now I have started to remove the current finish with oil and 1000+ grit sand paper.

If it's the all stainless ST version, you might consider sending it off to Bruce Gray and have it converted to 10mm!
    :shoot:

But then, you wouldn't be stripping off finish, would you?
