Doug Runyon, Managing partner Dignitary Protection Group passes

We wish to express our sincere sorrow at the loss of our friend and colleague, Mr. Douglas Runyon, Managing partner of The Dignitary Protection Group LLC of Terre Haute, Indiana.

We are told that Doug passed in his sleep last night.

Doug was a true gentleman who cared about the safety of others and who was very dedicated to his profession.

Our thoughts are with his family and those closest to him.

I had no idea Doug was in the position above. We grew up in the same neighborhood and went to school together (he was a year ahead). I haven't had contact with him since he graduated from high school, but I learned of his passing from another neighborhood alum yesterday.

Thank you to all for the kind words about Doug. It was a pleasure working with Doug at Dignitary Protection Group. He was a great mentor and will be greatly missed by many. As soon as decisions are made on the future of DPG and future training programs, I will post more information for everyone.
