Are you talking about the military side of Atterbury? If so thats a pretty good area. I bowhunt it throughout the year, but dont gun hunt there because of the ridiculous amount of people we allow per day. Good Luck!

IDNR home page. Search for "draw hunt results", enter your last name and birth-date, hit search.

If that's ALL of the hunts, then I got left out, AGAIN!

I have been lucky enough to hunt the military side of Atterbury a lot over the years.

And seeing how I live 3 miles from the post, it just makes sense to me to apply every year for the hunt.
I have hunted both bow and firearm seasons there. A few people don't like the amount of people that they allow to hunt, but I have never had a problem while I have been hunting there. I don't mind, they keep the deer moving.

Where is this info from? The papers I just printed state 11/15/2009

The usual hunt in november has been rescheduled to after christmas due to how busy we will be during that time.

I know the Johnson County DNR is aware of it. Also know it wasnt decided till after the packets were sent out.

And my son was drawn for:

Muscat archery 11/04

We were hoping to be drawn the same days to take some family members, but happy we were drawn none the less.
