Dunhams just opened in La Porte a few months back. They annoyed me a bit because they refused to sell a 10/22 to my out of state brother.

Guy said store policy trumps state law. So we ended up having to drive to Cabelas.

Other than that, it's a nice little store.

also keep in mind new stores are on a probabationary period for like six months.

I guess I don't really know what that means, does that mean Dunhams WILL eventually allow it???? Do more established stores sell to out of state residents?

as I understand it, when a new place opens that sells guns, they are on probation. Not sure if it's just a store policy or what.
